Marrakech

Casablanca


Casablanca lies on the coast and you will notice the difference in temperature from Marrakech as a cool wind blows. Visit the famous Mosquee Hassan II, the third largest in the world, which is raised on a rocky platform on the edge of the sea. 


Essaouira


Visit this beautiful city of blue and white. Check out the many different souks which are spread out in this old fortefied town. As you stroll along the beach, watch the many kite surfers taking advantage of the wind, and look back at the bustling port and harbour, which is the country's third fishing port.


Agadir


This city is Morocco's main beach resort, with an amazing sandy bay and all year round great temperatures. This is also home to the country's largest fishing port. 


Volubilis


The Zerhoun mountains and lush countryside surround Volubilis, which was the main city of Roman Morocco. Check out the beautiful, well preserved town with its fine archaeological sites. 


Meknes


This city was put on the map when the Sultan Moulay Ismail chose this site as his new capital. He was a ruthless tyrant and had a harem of over 500 hundred wives and fathered countless children. When he died the city fell into ruin, but it has been gradually restored and rejuvenated.


Ouarzazate


This is the crossroads of the south. To the North is the desert and kasbah of the Dades Valley. To the South is the ridge of the Anti-Atlas where the Draa Valley begins, which eventually merges into the Sahara.
